IMPORTANT MESSAGE REGARDING THE CANADIAN DENTAL CARE PLAN (CDCP)
The Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP), established by the Government of Canada, will begin in May 2024 and will be gradually implemented.
As dentists, we are pleased to know that more people will have access to oral care with an unprecedented financial assistance program. However, it will be necessary to allow additional time to obtain an appointment given the high demand and the adjustments for the implementation of this new program. We thank you in advance for your patience.
The purpose of this message is to clarify an important point regarding the fee policy. Regardless of whom we treat, we are committed to providing everyone with the same quality of care, the same professionalism, and at the same fee. Our code of ethics requires us to have the same fee for the same treatment for all our patients.
In addition to being ethical, it is fair and equitable for all patients, whether they are privately insured, covered by a public plan like the CDCP, or have no coverage for dental care.
If you are a beneficiary of this new plan, make sure to have your CDCP card and a photo ID (health insurance card, driver's license, etc.) with you when you come to your appointment. In addition, it is your responsibility to know when your healthcare coverage become eligible.
Although you may now benefit from substantial financial assistance through this program, you will have to pay the difference between the amount the CDCP will reimburse us and our usual fees.
Note also that there are several exclusions, the main ones are:
- Composite or ceramic veneers;
- Teeth whitening;
- Inlays;
- Fixed prostheses (bridges);
- Bruxism devices;
- Mouth protector;
- Implants and all procedures associated with implants;
- Bone grafts;
- Complex complete/partial dentures;
- Major rehabilitations
Please note that the insurance will only accept evaluation requests for crowns and removable prostheses as of November 1, 2024.

Retirement of Dr. Bousquet and Arrival of Her Daughter Dr. Bousquet-Racine
After 40 years of practice, Dr. Hélène Bousquet has decided to pass the torch to her daughter who has the desire to maintain the same philosophy of practice and to continue this beautiful story.
Dr. Véronique Bousquet-Racine obtained her doctorate in dentistry from Université de Montréal. Passionate about her profession and committed to providing high-quality care to her patients, she chose to pursue her academic career in a contingent program with McGill University. She completed a multidisciplinary residency certificate, affiliated with the Jewish General Hospital in Montreal, allowing her to offer a wider variety of services to the whole family.
Retirement of Dr. Beaudry and Arrival of Dr. Fanny Baillargeon-Normand
As of January 1, 2023, Dr. Beaudry has left for a well-deserved retirement after 41 years of service. He has chosen Dr. Fanny Baillargeon-Normand whom he trusts to treat his precious patients. She has been with the team for a few months now.
Dr. Fanny Baillargeon-Normand is gentle, empathetic and listens attentively to her patients. She completed her doctorate in dentistry at the Université de Montréal as well as a Master's degree in health sciences. She is an experienced general dentist who has worked in two clinics on the South Shore. In addition to performing general treatments, Dr. Baillargeon-Normand will also perform treatments here at the clinic that were previously referred elsewhere.
